Melanie loves helping people and found she could do that best as a chiropractor. Her aim is to help her patients feel better, stay well, improve their quality of life and get back to doing what they enjoy most.
Melanie is the daughter of Derek Kemp who practised and taught chiropractic in the Totton area for many years. Being surrounded by and introduced to chiropractic from an early age she witnessed and experienced how chiropractic can help people from all walks of life. She graduated in 2015 with a masters degree in chiropractic, and has diplomas in massage, is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association.
Melanie is trained in McTimoney Chiropractic, remedial massage techniques and the Epleys manoeuvre. As a chiropractor she is always updating her skills and learning new techniques to help her patients. She uses these skills to help resolve acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems. She works with children through to the elderly and has a special interest in nutrition and working with expectant mothers.
In her spare time Melanie enjoys the great outdoors, beach walking, camping and is a keen knitter.

Laura May Dean MChiro, MMCA, LRCC
Laura has long been aware of the benefits of chiropractic, not only because she is from a chiropractic family, but because she found it a huge aid in her own recovery after a significant injury. In particular she was drawn to McTimoney chiropractic because of it’s approach to the body as a whole, something that she holds as central to her own practice, as well as the gentleness of the technique which means it is suitable for all ages and stages. As a result Laura sometimes works with several generations from one family!
She graduated in 2015 with a chiropractic masters degree, has trained in a number of soft tissue techniques and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, Royal College of Chiropractors and is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association. She also has a particular interest in working with those who are hypermobile, in elderly care and helping to improve athletic performance.
Having welcomed a little boy in June of 2022 Laura enjoys spending her spare time with him and her family. In any additional spare time she has she enjoys walking, crafting and reading.
